Is anyone else having issues with Sonance mariner grills falling out? They used to fit tight, almost too tight. Now we have the opposite with them falling out over time. Let me know if anyone else is seeing that problem. They are suggesting to silicon them in.

It is a feature... Actually I have had issues with countless grills falling out, as have others recently discussed on IP.

What are you doing to resolve it?

Lol, for as hard as they can be to get seated it’s crazy this happens. Heard rumblings last year about this and thought it was addressed? I have 50, 70v units going in to a project as I type this.

I would use Goop if you really want them to stay. If you want them to be more difficult to remove, look at 3M 5200- it's called 'permanent' for a reason. It's available in small tubes-

My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."

They sent us new grills and they would fall out. So they came out with a new design and I had them send us replacement speakers.

I’m staring in disbelief at a pair of 1/2-5/8” screws taped to the grilles in amazement. “Fixed it!”, lol.
