I recently had an original DSP 2-150 fail, and Sonance replaced it with a MKII version. TIt's part of a stereo pair controlled by a URC MX-890, with wired IR into the port on the back, daisy chained from one to the other.
The issue I'm having is that the new MKII amp won't turn on via IR commands. Volume and mute work fine, but not power. There is no longer an option for "IR" or "IP" in the auto power on menu, and the manual says "When controlling the amplifier using IP and IR commands we suggest using the Power Button Auto On mode". When I have it in Power Button Auto On mode, I can get it to turn on by using the front panel power button and then it will turn off with IR. It will not turn on via IR no matter what I do.
It's running the latest firmware, V2.2.2150.
For now I have a semi-workaround of using the voltage out from the MKI amp to trigger the MKII, but that's not ideal as there is still a significant delay in the MKII turning on as the voltage output does not activate until the amp is fully powered on, 15+ seconds after the power on command.
Has anyone ran across this issue before?
