So, I need a longer One Connect cable for a newer Art TV. I did find one that's 15M long. But I cannot confirm if it'll work for the new Art TV's that also get power from the One Connect cable.
Has anyone used the 15M cable for a One Connect TV that gets its power from it??

We use the 15m all the time. All Frame TVs get power from the OneConnect cable. You need to watch out though because they are different.

I'm pretty sure the 2019 cable works on 2020 frames, it's just a little thicker so it doesn't fit in the channel on the back of the tv that no one uses anyway.

Here's a different observation. Why are you trying to run that POS cable 15 meters?
It is only going to work with select Samsung TVs. Good chance when they replace the TV in the years ahead, they will have to replace the cable again too. Because Samsung!

Why are you not cutting in a large media box, to hold the Connect box & stock cable (and other goodies), behind the TV? The cost of the longer Connect cable will pay for the media enclosure.
And then it works well for ANY TV they replace in the future.

I have a job too w Sammy frame and was gonna do the same? 15m.... I think damned if you do, damned if you don’t....

Imo if the tv shits the bed they will change manufactures most likely. So if ur pulling a 15m now, u will be pulling cats with it as well? So you will be good to go

We have a media box (14 x 14) that we put in during construction. But the One Connect is a bit too big to fit. Custom tile all around the location. But we do have a 1 1/2" conduit down to a cabinet area. That's why I'm looking at using a longer cable. We can cut a slot in the enclosure and shove the One Connect up into it but the house is all done and now they decided they want art tv's.

That sucks. Had you known ahead of time, you could have put in an 18"x14". That new fat Connect Box will fit into there.

I hate doing media boxes behind TVs. Ultimately something needs to be rebooted and you're stuck having to pull the TV down, or having the added expense and space for a controllable surge. I'd much rather put a conduit in to a base cabinet or closet where the equipment can be easily serviced.

I will only use an articulating mount, so I can pull the TV out when needed. Else a two man service call to take the TV down.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

I agree 100%.  I still try to do a box behind the TV whenever possible but I only use it for power and wiring.  I'd rather have the actual equipment in a nearby mech room or closet whenever possible.

I ran into a large fireplace a few months ago that had seven runs of heat dispersion right behind the TV location so sometimes there just isn't room for a recessed box anyway.

I'm curious how that can work with the Frame Art TV. I can't see it being flush with the wall for a clean look.

You use an in-wall articulating mount.
