Walmart alway has the cheapest price on everything!
That doesn't mean they have the best quality items!

I haven't personally experienced this little marval, and I don't intend to.

But I am open to your comments if you bought one.

I'm not sinical, just skepticle.

It is disposable at that price. As for the DVD format, you would be lucky to have the Walmart DVD player last until the next format change...very lucky.

The Walmart DVD recorder is rumored to be made by Lite-On. I swear by their DVD drives made for computers but this recorder hasn't gotten the best reviews. For a little more money, you can get the highly regarded Panasonic DMR-E55K Progressive-Scan DVD Recorder/Player (check Amazon).
Own two Pannys and both have worked flawlessly.

If you are asking if a sub $200 DVD recorder is "any good", don't worry about HD-DVD or Blu-Ray DVD. The first players will be at least $1000 and won't be available at Walmart until 2010.

And BTW, didn't you get enough answers about this POS DVD recorder when you asked about it the other day? If not here is the answer. It is a a piece of crap. Most every piece of electronics at Walmart is a piece of crap. For that matter, almost any sub $200 piece of electronic equipment is likely a piece of crap. You get what you pay for. If it is too good to be true, .....well you get the point.

Yeah, that intrigued me, too. If you are asking again, thinking we won't notice that you are asking AGAIN, then you think we don't pay much attention. If you think we don't pay much attention, why would you ask us such a question even once?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Aaaah, I've been online since the days of BBS and understand LOL (was Lots Of Luck) but may have a new meaning these days, IMHO, and others, but what is LMAO?
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
