What has been people's experience with this series?

Certainly, they are easy to install. I'm seeing seven MAC addresses for each access point, some are without SSID. According to my Android based scanner, one of the 2.4GHz access points is a 40MHz channel. I'm seeing channels 1, 2, 3 (with SSID), 1, 2, 3 (without SSID), and 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 (without SSID), 36, 40, 44, 48 (with SSID), 149, 153, 157, 161 (with SSID), 149, 153, 157, 161 (without SSID), 149, 153, 157, 161 (without SSID).

It's still too early for my final judgement, but this seems like a lot of spectrum use. That wide 2.4GHz channel will cause interference for neighbors in high density urban areas. The speeds I'm seeing are reasonable, not stunning.

Had an issue on one job with 2 computers could not see the network. Had to call TS finally and found out about the legacy mode hidden in the troubleshooting section of the app. Enabled that and the two computers immediately saw the network. I did not have an older Eero device to add to see if they would simply work with both installed. I know they can both be used in a system, but am unsure if it would resolve this issue.

I put an eero 6 system in Monday. But didn’t have much to test because the clients weren’t home.

I've installed about 30 of them, no issues as of yet.
First 4 were in my own home and they are all hard wired. I have 200mg service and get that on Wifi everywhere.

The majority of my clients are newer homes and newer devices so I rarely run in to issues with legacy devices but Hayward pool equipment usually causes connection issues.

Are you using the same SSID for all nodes?

According to their tech support, devices will use the 5G band unless they don't have the ability and both bands are active at all times. The 5G band can be disabled for 15 minutes in order to set up devices that operate on 2.4G, but will return to normal after that time.

Call tech support- they can help.

Each node has it's own group of seven wireless MAC addresses. I did call support and they found one issue in my LAN that I was unaware of (cabling fail), but initially the agent was surprised at my logging seven MAC addresses for each node, but could not explain why there were so many.

Perhaps these are characteristics of WiFi6. FWIW I am using a WiFi6 capable Android phone as my scanner.

Overall I had a positive experience with support.

So far very speedy and reliable for the 3-4 times I've installed.
