Anyone mount a Sonos Arc to the bottom of a TV on an articulating mount?

Looking at doing a 65" or 75" on an articulating mount with a Sonos ARC. I honestly haven't used the ARC yet.
I'm looking at trying to mount it to the bottom of the TV, if possible. If we wall mount it below the TV then I'll have to get an HDMI (or Optical, if I don't use audio return channel) up to the TV and mess with hiding power cable, etc.
Has anyone done this before? I've done a few old Playbars with fair results. They were heavy. I don't know weight of the ARC bar.

Sonos recommends 4" clearance between TV and ARC.

PLAYBAR is about 12 pounds and ARC is about 14 pounds.

I have installed the Sanus piece Shafer linked. It's OK. Similar to their Beam mount but the Arc mounts from the rear and has an adjustable depth mechanism for the ARC. Definitely would only mount it with an articulating mount as it's quite bulky in the rear.

Works perfectly especially on an articulating mount as mentioned above

I laugh as I read these.
The reason SONOS says to keep 4" clearance to the top... it has up firing speakers for Atmos remember! If you mount the soundbar flush to the bottom of the TV, you just negated a chunk of the soundbar's features.
I understand however that people just don't give a $hit. Nor do most installers these days.
But when installers don't even explain to customers what's going on and why a certain setup isn't a good idea if they care about performance (either because of not caring or their own ignorance), who is the real idiot? I mean after all, one of the two parties is getting paid to know about these kind of things (at least for the customer that does care).

I have to note (because I get bashed for this all the time): This is not directed at PSS. For all I know the customer insisted on an arm mount (when they didn't need it), then insisted the soundbar be flush with the TV (which is an incorrect installation for this model).
I have had MANY of these customers. As long as you educate them about their poor choice, it is on them.

Funny side note: I have a customer right now that is insisting on a SONOS soundbar. There is already a full surround sound wired & installed (in-wall & in-ceiling) but insists on a SONOS soundbar anyway. All I could do was explain the tradeoffs and what they are giving up. It is their home and their choice.

One thing to note on this add on style mount. It easily adds an inch to the bolts needed for the bottom two bolts to secure on the back of the TV. I did the Beam version a couple weeks ago with a Samsung TV with and an articulating mount. For the first time in a Long time, I had to go to the hardware store for longer bolts mid-install.

Brad- you’re wrong. This mount allows for the upward firing speakers to not be blocked. Customers like Sonos because it just works and sounds good to them. No need to disparage other installers or customers.

You would have to extend the piece that mounts the sound bar down a lot - where you would see that flat metal piece between the TV and sound bar. Ideally you are correct and that would work fine. But are you telling me that a customer would be happy with that? That they wouldn't insist you push the piece all the way up, so the sound bar is flush with the TV?

I mentioned that I wasn't directing anything at the original poster. And as far as disparaging installers or customers, I only know what I see. And what I see all the time is stuff thrown into homes looking like crap, not installed properly, and a general lack of caring. This in installs that I have to fix. This in people's homes that I happen to be there and notice how jacked up their stuff is. And this in the vast majority of everything electronic I come across in people's homes (either self installed or not).
Most of the installers on this forum board know the feeling, as they have to deal with it too.

Maybe I've been doing this to long and I'm beyond burned out (coming up on 30 years doing this professionally). Or maybe I'm just sick of the mass ignorance. I can't tell anymore. Like most, if I could find something else to do for a living I would in a heartbeat.

Brad- Sonos sells the Sanus piece on their website. It works properly and to their specs. Just wanted to clear the confusion for others in case they want to use it.

We have used the Triad speakerbar mount with the Arc on an 85. Sanus was not long enough on the Samsung the client had.

If that's your business model. Most of the best chefs in the world have little interest in cooking something they find uninspiring just to make a buck.

Any real chef in anything close to resembling a decent steakhouse will flat out refuse to cook a steak well done. I think golden corral will though. 🤣

I recall a Master Chef episode where the challenge was to cook steaks at all temperatures, including rare and well done. Ramsey spent a while demonstrating how to properly cook a steak well done without ruining it, which was no easy challenge.
