Hi there,

Any thoughts about cutting the one connect cable connector off, running the the wire and then re attaching the connector?

Or cut the cable in half to extend it?

We have an application where the general contractor ran a 0.75" coreline from the tv location to the rack location. We want to place the one connect in the rack.

Thanks!

The One Connect cable is a combination of copper wiring and fiber optics so I don't think you'd have any success splicing/terminating it.

Put a stand alone HDMI switch in the Rack and pull a detachable head shell fibre to the One Connect box (behind the TV).

depends on if you need it to actually work or not,

If not, go ahead and cut it.

Cut in a wall enclosure and install One Connect in behind TV?
Then pull a CAT6 thru your conduit for HDMI monitor output from rack switch or receiver?
