Hi I came across this forum and I was wondering 2 things. 1. How do I send raw timings with digitalWrite (Working on a propriety group project and also want to know more about infrared) 2. How can I convert hundreds of prontoHex to raw in a timely fashion?

I have tried to use the timings with digitalWrite and delay and also delayMicroSeconds and multiple different combination to no aplaud. im using a arduino uno. Please help and thnx sorry for bothering :}

I’m not sure this will ever work with the digitalWrite command. That’s a command that’s part of the arduino library and the user has no control when and how quickly it’s executed. You are probably better off using the TX of your uart module connected to your IR transmitter. You will need a driver of sorts to drive the LEDs but it’ll work. Baud-rate determines timing between bits and you can adjust timing between bytes with a timer or counter.

What is the application?
