I came across a AVRX3500H a client has. I plan on integrating it into a control system. How's the IP control? Reliable? Should use IR?
Only using it for 7.1, not second zones.
Any input or issues would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

I have found IP control of Denon AVRs to be very reliable, and in general the codes stay consistent from model and year which makes upgrading easy.

Even if the IP isn't great for some reason, the X series should at least have an IR input.

I know but was just seeking info on any other "issues". I know Denon had some HDMI problems, may have been a long time ago. Just hoping not to run into any issues if I can avoid them.
