Trinnov.

Upgradeable for new formats by software release

Truly great room calibration and equalization facilities

BTW I'm not 100% convinced the new Arcams are of the same sonic quality of the older units.....although as I write that I realise that I am comparing  AVR10's and 20's that I recently installed with the AVR850 I have at home, and they are obviously a level range apart.

I haven't installed an AVR30 yet so that may be more akin to my older 850....?

The display on the front is really nice to use though and the units do look much more high end than before.....then again so does the Trinnov!

FWIW the web GUI for setup on the Arcam is very basic, clunky to use, and looks like it was written by a first year computing student! Other than for setting the network address I don't bother with it and do everything via on-screen menus.

I cant make my mind up about Dirac Live either....sometimes the resulting filters don't seem to sound that great, regardless of how much i play with the target curves....it certainly doesn't compare to the results I have achieved on Trinnov, although again I recognise that the rooms being measured can be radically different in acoustic performance.
What do you mean you wanted it on the other wall - couldn't you have mentioned this when we prewired?
