Mr Brad. Are you using the Cloud based D-tools also, or strictly the SI version? Looks like The cloud based includes CRM while SI does not? Cloud syncs with QB online while SI only QB desktop.

We strictly use the SI version. When I last looked, the cloud version was more limited and we have already been using the desktop (VPN for remote use) for three plus years. Yes, the cloud version of QB could make it difficult.

We are moving towards SI POs, so we can keep the sales people out of QB. We are also only pushing projects to QB once they have been accepted by the customer. The customer Portal is great. It forces a signature for approval. And we can see when the proposal has been viewed.

Mr Brad or anyone else using System Integrator D-Tools
We recently started using SI14. I have a question and cant seem to get a straight answer. Is it true that every product brought in from manufacturers defaults to a $0 sell price (unit price)? I am being told that there is no way to default the products to sell for MSRP pricing or any other pricing for that matter and we must go in and edit every product to adjust the sell price.

I did manage to figure out we can select a range of products and apply a price rule to them to sell by MSRP.

I’m not a fan of monthly billing. Bought dtools 2015 and still using it.
