I have been using Key Digital Extenders for a while, first the KD-X222PO and now the KD-X444S and while both have been "mostly good" I am getting really sick of troubleshooting them when they are not. Anyone using anything rock solid when extending HDMI over cat? Yes I need 4K HDR.

I came into this game for the action, the excitement. Go anywhere, travel light, get in, get out, wherever there's AV trouble, a man alone.

This may be the first thread in a long time where everyone agrees.

Never have had a problem with the Snap ones I've used, and am using, other than a lightning strike that took out one of the matrix channels.

Weird how that went. Lightning hit the DTV dish, took out the LNB, then the DTV DVR, ROKU, HDMI ports on the LG PDP, and finally the one slot on the 4x4 matrix, along with various other items throughout the house

I, too, have not had issues with the Binary's. But, I ALWAYS here great things about AVPro. Ive used some of the audio over cat products and they have been flawless.

The Key Digital ones really suck, off all that I've used.

A year ago we tried AVPro Edge after having some weird 4K issues with a Sn@p unit, been using them since with no issues. Cost is a bit more but with the reliability it's well worth it.
Sn@p may have updated there's since then who knows

What's your second choice?
Don't say Ethereal.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Thats Easy, AV Pro.
Right now I think that Matt (AV Pro) and I have a better grasp of the HDMI future than many others.

Brent and Matt deserve our support.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
