We haven't been doing much security lately aside from the Rings and Nests of the world. What have people been having good and bad luck with? Which apps seem professional and horrible? Luma, IC Realtime, etc.

Thanks in advance

I wish Nest made an NVR that could be used with 3rd party cameras.  I really like their app interface.

I agree. Also impressed by the human/noise/motion notifications, ease of setup, camera picture quality, and of course the brand recognition by the client. Those pesky power cords are the biggest PITA

I'll have to check it out. Is there any margin in it?

Whatever you make your time worth. Basically, it's a Synology NAS running an application for surveillance. You control how much storage you need, what drives to use, how much to allot for surveillance, etc.

Fastest connecting camera app I've used and pretty customisable. If you have control systems that can execute an receive generic web commands, then you can have a lot of automation options based on alerts, whether in Home/away modes, etc.

Unfortunately, no one has written easy 2-way drivers yet. Too much snap koolaid I'm guessing.
