The Rocky Mountain Hi Fi show just announced they will not be having their event this year in Denver. It is not looking promising for CEDIA. Better to be safe than sorry...

Roddy, you need to get your employer to sponsor a trip to ISE in Barcelona with me in February.

I'm pleasantly surprised that they did this before exhibitors final payments were due. Helps all of us with cash flow.

As head honcho of one of the best products in the video distribution industry- we’d come to you (preferably in winter). In house tour / meet and greet with a continental breakfast. All kidding aside, you’re product is a category leader, it’s just that the delta between this or that is miles wide and it’s whooping our butts.

Wondering if anyone made reservations, bought air tickets, etc, etc, and aren't set up to get a full refund?

That WOULD suck.

We do have a training program in Florida that you might be interested in attending. You can find the details here:

Since Cedia has been cancelled, we are all getting together at TSS’s beach house this year. Room and Board is free and includes all the wine you can drink, but bring your own toiletries, because TSS has a phobia of those little hotel soaps. On Thursday he will hold a lecture on “HDMI: only a fad. Component is making a comeback” so everyone can write the trip off as a business expense. Ernie is going to give the opening keynote address, so bring a chair.

Remember, space is limited and will require everyone to double up, so register early so you can be sure to get your first choice on bunk mates sorry Mario, I call dibs on Brendon.

Told Brendon that y'all gotta make sure you let Jeff know when you all are arriving at Cedia and which room he can crash in.

Hurricane season is suppose to be very active this year. Might not be the best year for a meetup at TSS beach house. He always catches all of them :)

Y'all best bring tents.

The training session will be held ON the beach. Suntan lotion is NOT provided, so if you burn, I accept no responsibility.

Since we all know that HDMI is terrible, I've hired some nerd to teach an entirely new standard. He says it will be the end of HDMI, and will be the only thing you will ever need going forward. I can't say his name (Wesley), but he wants EVERY installers attention...

For entertainment, I asked Bruce to explain how to flood a condo in one easy fire drill.

Brendon says he will give a detailed account of how to broke buying Festool stuff.

More to follow....

I am in!
When?
Where?
Is there parking for the new MX5?
And can I wear a Speedo?
