That's kind of what I figured so I guess laptop screen size is not very important then so I wouldn't pay extra for a bigger laptop display size and type.

Part of why I love my surface is how might it is. My wife is actually using it now to record videos for her class, she's an elementary teacher. She is falling in move with it and she's not really a big computer person, just uses them to get by.

A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Very funny. No, that's not sarcasm. Very funny!

I'm surprised you didn't comment on the one I dropped in that last post. You're either slacking or growing as a person.

Yes. This is just for programming.

"Just for programming" is kind of like when home owners say "just for background music" when discussing in-ceiling speakers. The first party they have the system gets turned up to 11 and they act confused when you remind them that they told you that they "didn't need big speakers".

I have seen programming that takes weeks of 8 hour days. Thats why i suggested getting a "desktop replacement". You will absolutely never regret having the bigger display.

The surface pros are great if you want light and are sitting out there loading a couple of remotes. If you are going to be there for hours every other day programming at a job site do yourself a favor...and lug that 3000 pound 17" laptop into the job site and have a decent sized screen to look at while you are trying to side by side a spreadsheet and your programming app.
