those that use EERO - it there a way to turn off the wifi signal completely at will? Customer has some concerns about constant EMF (don't even, seriously) and wants to turn them off at night. I think scheduling just shuts down the connection but not the signal itself.
i have been on hold with them for 50 minutes now

Seriously thou, any product that does frequent and automated updates, you probably shouldn't just kill power to it on a regular basis. How is this any different than any of the auto reboot stuff? Or some other device is updating when the WiFi goes off? Said power center can not see internet Well the router/modem/WiFi is updating. Or the internet blipped out? Does the power center/device know this? Reboot... I know it’s bad karma. But when the update fails. Reboot. .?.? I really want to understand this, not meant to be condescending in any way.

You cannot. Just went down this route and electing to use Lutron to make it happen since the whole network is going down. I may not agree with my clients but I respect their desires. I asked they give a full 5 minutes for power ups- and it’s a deployment with a single pro unit. This scenario with wireless eero’s is shunned because it can reroute the mesh and make the “network” unstable.
Would be grateful if this conversation steered towards managed switches too;)

So you get more than one timer and set to desired reset times?
And as far as the “reroute” goes
Have you ever had a system where a network switch goes bad(or a port) and the eero OR Sonos self heals? And the network works, just not very well...

The cellphones are probably turned OFF at night.
There could be some collateral issues with the WiFi shut down, such as thermostats using the cloud. The cloud is likely to notify the client that it hasn't heard from the thermostats in a while.

Tell them to also call the local clear channel radio stations that broadcast nearby at 50,000 watts so they install a timer as well. Oh, and TV stations, cell towers, local fire and police radios...

It only updates when you tell it to. So this would only be a danger for equipment that for whatever reason, the manufacture decided it knows best and are going to control when & how the device gets updates. This would probably mostly involve IoT devices. But Eero is an IoT device as much as a network device. Not sure if updates on it are controlled or not. I have seen a TiVo get bricked like this before. Or at least it was a strong possibility that an auto reboot of the power to the TiVo, caused it to brick (no way to know for sure). It was the day after a software update was sent out. Customer was trying to use their TiVo and it wasn't working. So they pushed the button on the OvrC app to reboot the TiVo. Endless booting of the TiVo after that. Suspect it was in the middle of that software update when the customer zapped it.

Just tell the client to wrap the WAP in tin foil when they go to bed at night. Seems to work for "Harry" when he puts it on his head.

Cell Phones and WiFi are thrown into the "non ionizing" radiation bin. Unless the radiation level is high enough to induce direct heating ("cooking" the victim if you like, ie. microwave oven) low level radiation is not considered dangerous. This does not prevent conspiracy theories from the uninformed.
At one point there was an alarm over pregnancy, CRT terminals, and miscarriages. There was an immediate assumption about radiation, but eventually it was figured out that long periods of bad posture in the steno pool was the cause. It is true that there is potential for a poorly designed or defective CRT drive circuit to generate x-rays. The acceleration voltage is near the lowest potential that will result in x-ray generation ("ionizing" radiation). This is why CRT's have a high lead content in the front glass.
Another big scandal started in Denver after a social worker observed that there was a unusual number of childhood leukemia cases and most of the sick children lived next to a power line transformer. Therefore it was claimed that transformers cause leukemia. World wide no one else could confirm this observation. Years later it was discovered that all of these kids lived on the wrong side of the tracks and air pollution was much higher in this area.
Unfortunately, none of these facts will quell the fears of an EMF freak.
I wonder if the OP's customer uses a microwave oven.

Just swap the network for something that this can be done the right way, because keeping this client should be VERY expensive for them or time for you to move on. I'm starting to charge a crazy person tax, and so should you.
