I'm referring to series TV, whether serial with or without ongoing stories. What do you think?
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

I have also wondered how TV will look in the future. Probably a lot more drone shadows seen, masks being worn. And a flood of virus related tv drama garbage. Hospital setting shows. I just watch cooking related, fishing and reality shows like Gold Rush and Oak Island. So not much change for me. Might not be an NHRA drag racing season to watch. At least my tickets are good for next year.

It may encourage more cord cutting, “what is live TV?” certainly not sports right now, news is all bad and repetitive, plenty of better old catalog than anything the major networks show today.

How long can ESPN handle the contracts losses? Will they fold from the shutdowns? Who or more likely what service will take their place? Will be have ESPN+? If it does turn into a paid streaming, bye bye cable.

There’s a big controversy over the Ellen show. She’s always talking on tv about how her staff is family, but she’s now filming from home, using some nonunion crew, and has told her regular staff they have to take pay cuts.

There's plenty of legacy serial material to watch, material that you never had time to keep current with -- several lifetimes worth.

And, opportunity for the AI crew to post process masks onto series characters, this would be helpful for kids' characters.

TV has been recycling crap for quite a while, so it's not going to be much different.

Slanted news, or opinion.

Reruns, reruns, reruns.

Godawful movies.

Even worse network shows.

Music channels are decent. :-)

There was a Ray Bradbury episode about people living in their houses and being trapped inside by the government. Everybody was glued to their TVs for years watching re-runs and eating the propaganda.
The main character goes outside one night accidentally or something and bumps into another character who entices him to break the rules and discover the outside world... I won't spoil it but the world was run by drones and robots..

beverly hillbillies and green acres are filling my time these days, and the office.

I see no reason golf minus the gallery cant start now.

But if this actually came to pass, they could do a bunch of these reality TV shows. Test everyone involved put them on an island feed them drinks and let the cameras roll.
