I went back through the time machine and found the same discussion from 10 years ago.  When I said, if you're not charging at a minimum of $100 per hour, you're probably losing money, or not making as much as you should be.

I don't care what area you live in, whether it's Paduka, KY or New York City.

(And that was 10 years ago).

So, I put together an Hourly Rate Calculator today while I sat around in my pajamas.

I'm interested in how many guys are undercharging for their services?

Here's the calculator.  You'll have to do a little math on your end calculating your expenses, but other than that it should only take you a couple of minutes to complete.

Not entirely true, the 4 specific pool builders I know have no interest in that, most of the services are handled by the pool maintenance company and vice Versa

What's not entirely true? I said lots of pool companies build, renovate, and repair, and lots of pool companies indeed build, renovate and repair

By my calculations I need to be charging $1200 hr, oh wait, sorry that was based on how many hours a week I "want" to work.

Our pool guy in the Tampa area costs $90 per month for weekly service. He's usually in and out in about 10 minutes. Includes chemicals/additives/salt as needed.

120 a month here in oldsmar, you got it cheap

It’s what we know from learning it that matters. Anyone gone to a value charge model. Charging what the client values what you’ve done versus an hourly rate?
