I have one that I did yesterday and is mid transfer. Customer said that they aren’t getting any codes and will wait to see today if it works. However, I can pull it up in the portal and can view and do anything. Just says “pending transfer”.

Port forwarding and DHCP reservations are both avail in the app as well. At least on iOS.

Oh wow, I hadn’t checked and was going off the left coast rep “advice” that was ripped into me about this. Huh...

I was handing them off but clients calling and asking me to check this or change that, it's just easier to keep that within the app on my phone, so unless they ask for control, I just keep it in my account.  I do wish you could name each network something besides the SSID though.  That is a pita with keeping accounts all in your app

So, I'm still learning the "ins and outs". If you don't "transfer it/ hand it off" you just access from your phone app only? How does each client show up? From your post it seems only by SSID, is this true?
Other question, if transferred, is the only thing you loose is the ability to view the SSID password? I see it can be changed though.

If you don’t transfer it, it will be available in your app but how many accounts the app will hold is in question. Once transferred (completely) it will be available in the pro portal.

3 items have cropped up for me. First the ability to utilize a managed switch has been difficult. Second, when used with installed LTE throughput is halved. Third, use in high density areas is almost impossible (Curt explained why here some time back).

I love this product, however it looks more and more like the Sonos of WiFi every day.

I made a mistake on this post- once you hit transfer- the system is gone until the recipient acknowledges the invite. Until that confirmation occurs, the system remains in a black hole.

Had this happen to me The other day. It’s been a little while
Since I relinquished one to the customer.

Key is to have the customer download the app and create the account. Then once that is done then it’s OK to transfer. It’s then automatic. If you transfer and they didn’t create the account or just skip registration and They try and enter their email or phone number and get the message that a code was sent for the verification nothing will happen. No code is sent since no real account was established. If they then create the account you are fine. The account is still avail at least in the pro dashboard

What do you like about the dashboard?

Still using the app.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.

Right on. However, you cannot add an Eero device. Hadn’t tried working within the dashboard in this instance beyond the issue at hand.

Take it for a spin, basically a wider view than the app offers and a couple extra variables for tweaking.
