Question: If the laser engraving process removes the paint/powder coat finish, will the text/logo rust?  Here on the coast Middle Atlantic rack screws and other rack parts will start to rust after only a few months.

Does the process only etch the original finish, but not burn down to metal?

Great question Paul.  For you guys who are living near salty air, they have an acrylic clear coat to keep it protected.
