This is probably a better question for the elevator contractor, but I’ll ask here anyway. Is there a call button for a residential elevator that would fit in a decora opening. I had a client ask about this today.

I suppose that it depends on the municipality, but in my area elevators are licensed and require licensed installers. We can't muck with elevators.
I'll agree that call buttons can look very clunky.

We have often put elevator call buttons on a lighting keypad. Done this many times and inspectors have not had a problem with it.
