I used to use the Wirepath tool that worked well for punching down all 8 wires at once on the wirepath jacks. But the company I’m at now uses Leviton 61110 style jacks (rear facing terminals instead of the top facing). Does anyone besides JackRapid make a punch down tool that will punch all pins at once on the 61110 style jacks?

JackRapid is the only one I know of that does that style.

Bigger question; why does this company use the 180° connectors, instead of the 90°?
If you do a 6 keystone 1 gang plate, they won't fit.
If you do a high density rack keystone panel, they won't fit. I have never seen the value in those connectors, when they make the connector larger and unable to work in some situations.

They will fit if you bring the wire in straight from the back. But then you have to punch them by hand. Personally, I don’t have an answer for that, not my call were using them before I got there.

I’ve never had an issue terminating from the side and then bending the cable straight out the back and I’ve done 1000s of them. A little tight in a patch panel or wall plate but not a deal breaker.

No idea on an alternate tool. Is there a reason you don’t like the Leviton?

I would venture to guess that the company I work for has done 10K+ of rear facing Cat6 jacks between Leviton, Commscope and Panduit in the last 12 months. Only issue we had with the JackRapid on the Leviton was if you weren't careful about getting it set into the tool the Brown or Brown/White (cant remember which) would be open on a Fluke test. The tool won't last nearly as long as a punchdown unfortunately so plan on replacing it periodically.

Are you sure that will handle the 61110 style? If so, awesome find. I’ve had a couple JackRapids before, but they always crack in the die.
