I have a customer who wants the new Samsung 75" Frame TV. Its going above a fireplace. Theres existing network cabling there. They are going to stream only. The issue is were to put the One Connect Box? I could cut in a back box.
Has anyone hung these on a traditional tilt bracket? I could set the one connect behind the TV. Does it take away from the whole frame concept. I dont want it to look goofy.
Let me know if anyone has done it. Can not find any image online

Cut in a black-box so the Frame can be flush to the wall like it was designed. Anything else would look DIY.

Unless they changed something on the newest model, the mount that comes with it can tilt some and it keeps the bottom tight. Doesn’t look too bad as long as you don’t tilt too much, like about as much as a picture hanging might tilt, which isn’t much. Otherwise yes it starts to look more like a tv and less like a picture. Just my opinion but I have kept mine flat to the wall even when up relatively high and there is no problem when trying to watch TV. Like Mr Brad said, keeping it looking like a picture frame seems best.

The 2020 Frame models also have a smaller One Connect box... now it's only 14" long.

Any idea if the connections on each end of the fiber cable have changed from 2019?

Also, “lite” commercial and outdoor options.

Nice that they made it small enough to fit within a stud space... If only they could figure out the connectors on the fiber cable so you can actually fish them through a conduit.
You can't fix stupid
