We have a customer where we prewired a small surround sound system but the issue was we could only do an in-ceiling system.

Now time to finish and am looking for a 6" speaker that is a approximately 4" deep and are sold individually. All the speakers that I have looked into are either way too deep or are sold in pairs.

I know I could look at some custom options but that is a huge expense for a small living room system and they won't want to spend that kind of money just on speakers.

Can someone recommend a speaker brand/model that they have used in situations like this?

Monitor Audio CS160 is perfect for that application.

I will throw in Sonance. I believe that they have a speaker for just about every screwed up scenario on the planet.

Thanks guys,

I know I can get Beale Street and KEF so will look into them. For those in Canada do you know how to obtain Monitor, are they through distribution or direct? I haven't used Sonance since I left my old company and I know they are through distribution in Canada, we aren't a dealer but may look into becoming one depending on the requirements.

They are very easy to work with.

I'm assuming by they you are referring to Sonance since you originally suggested them. In Canada Sonance is through a distributor (not sure about the US) so sometimes makes it harder to become dealers, especially if they want opening orders.

I did like their speakers when I was installing them.
