I have a customer who is interested in a motorized flip down TV mount. The TV would be about 49". The ceiling of the patio is flat bead board.

I've looked at Nexus 21. That unit is about $5500 I believe. I will propose this to them, but I would like to have some other backup options. Is there a manual drop down TV mount - kind of like mantel mount that anyone else has used?

Future Automation makes some. I dont know that it would be less than the Nexus piece. But I do know it would be better.

No manual option from what I can find, but that seems like something you could piece together at Home Depot. lol

We looked up pricing for the Future Automation marine rated flip down for a 75". MSRP is $54k!

Client decided a smaller TV was ok on a Nexus21 drop down lift. It seems really well built and quiet.

Damn!
The Nexus is supposedly marine rated but only goes to 65". That's crazy. Inca has one too - not sure on the pricing.
