Interesting concept. It would pay to check with the ISP, because the most likely agreement discourages "servers" at the site.

It doesn't have to be, nor should it be complicated.

I'm funeral age, you ever go to the average funeral?  It's a bunch of old people.  Don't complicate their goodbye's with forcing them to use technology they're not familiar with.

Sounds like some vulture’s kid is out of school and Dad is trying to get him into the business and letting him come up with “new ideas”. They think this is going to be as easy as watching a YouTube link. But I suspect it’s going to be a nightmare in the end
Civil War reenactment is LARPing for people with no imagination.

Vaddio offers product that will allow you to stream a 1080p signal, insert audio from a mixer, and put it out to Facebook or Youtube. My favorite supplier carries the product. Tons of options in terms of cameras...

You can thank mr corona for the need for them to look into this. Some funerals do have more then ten folks attending lol.

Thanks yall for the input. It was a simply inquiry from the customer on what it took. Now I have at least a couple ideas.

I've been using the Yolo Box from Yolo Liv. It does everything in one unit - no need for external computer, monitor, encoder, switcher etc. AND..retails for under $1K. PM me for more info - Craig

It does everything? What kind of optics does it's camera use? It also hosts the stream?

I had to look him up, as I thought he was a spammer at 1st. Who tells someone to "PM them for more info" on an installer's forum board, if they are not a shill or spammer?
But if seems he is legit, looking up his company and their website.

The product itself is a Chinese company:

And there is an authorized US rep? With more info:
