We aren’t yet, but everyone is expecting the governor to do it tomorrow.

I'm in, but local rules could easily interpret our business as "essential services".

We are not and do not expect it to happen. That being said Scottsdale was a freeking ghost town this weekend with everything closed.
Except for the fact that it looked like a marathon out on the streets (slight exaggeration) with everyone out walking, hiking / biking trails crowded more than usual.

Same here, total ghost town everywhere you go. We’re under a stay at home order, yet I haven’t seen so many people out in the neighborhood in the 4 years since I’ve lived here.

That being said, neighbors are practicing social distancing when talking in their yards.

My state, Connecticut, is under stay at home orders. Fortunately my job falls under essential services, electrician.

I always practice cleanness and such. Just a little more so now though. But I’ve noticed my boss taking the initiative to keep things clean. Sad how it takes a global panic to do that.

However, it is allergy season for me, and others, and it’s upsetting to see people look at us when we cough, sneeze, sniffle or whatever.

We don't have a state wide lock down (Texas) but there are local municipalities that have stay-at-home policies. Of course, internet is considered an essential service so we are clear to move around. Best practices obviously are the standard and should be.

There are more important things obviously, like cramming diversity laws, solar/wind credits and green new deal standards into a COV-19 bill. Of course! November cant roll around fast enough to smack a few folks out of office.

If you're going to take what could be seen as an extreme position, you should use the right words:
Our local communist leaders are champing at the bit for more power...

Nothing deflates an out-there message like using the wrong words unless the point is how poor our schools are.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Ernie is correct. The original phrase is "Champing at the bit".

But this began to change around the 1930's (according to Wiki). And "Chomping at the bit" became more popular in the American language.

Could you imagine being quarantined with Erine for weeks. :)

The Shelter in Place order here in Denver and Boulder has so many exemptions that it doesn't really change much as far as day to day life goes.
