I know there are some guys who build websites on here. I'm looking for some good recommendations!
I'm a smaller one man shop on something of a budget, so nothing too elaborate, but I want to maximize social media for search results. At least I think I do - too ignorant about it to know the best approach.
Seems like you have to go to Word Press for that vs something like Wix?
For the very first time, since I started on my own in 2004, my word of mouth only biz has slowed so much I think I have to actually begin marketing. Something I should have done long ago!!
Would love to know what others have found worthwhile in terms of return on investment when it comes to a website.
I might even have to wrap my van. Yep, still driving around a big white blank canvas.

I just had Hasbeen (Paul Ryan Design) build my website and it is awesome. Paul is a great guy to work with. Trust me call him you will love what he does for you. He really knows what he is doing.

If you do smaller type jobs, SEM will do more for you than SEO. If you do larger jobs, network like crazy with architects, GCs, electricians, etc. Either way, you just need a basic modern responsive Web site that passes the sniff test. It won’t be the engine that drives business - it’s just a box you have to check.

Needed a new website for the rep firm and Paul got the jist of it in about 5 minutes.
Totally painless process.
