What kind of wood? You might be able to put wood veneer on that enclosure. You could also go to a Rockler woodworking store and check their business cards, for people who make wooden boxes- they often come up with some interesting designs.

I ended up making one with some veneered 3/4" plywood and my power miter box and a trip to rockler for some heat transfer veneer tape. Not an economically viable model...

You could put veneer on those boxes with contact cement and stain to match.

We always have to have them made at a cabinet makers shop. Maybe you can get one of the metal boxes faux painted or vinyl wrapped?

Wrap it with contact paper, for shelves?

Does it have to be wood? How about custom painting?

we have an artist that does work for us that can paint wood grain finish on anything.  her work is amazing.  She has painted cameras and door sensors as well as whole doors for that matter.

I should have also said it needs to be smaller. The one I linked is huge, and wrapping it will he even bigger. May have to get one made.

Take a block of wood and cut an angle on it. Drill a hole in the back for the cable and then chisel out enough so that the keypad fits.

I'll presume you're aware of the table top kit Control4 makes and have ruled it out.
