I've been choosing Samsung because it now includes Apple TV and Airplay 2 for customers who want to rent from iTunes or watch purchased movies. So far it looks like Sony only has Airplay for streaming video from iOs devices

I was favoring the Samsung too, but I left it up to him and he picked the Sony.
Good= great picture.
Bad=Overpriced, external power supply. Narrow and low mounting point position and terrible connection placement. It is not a thin TV!
