Personal system, ABC on both the Dish Hopper and one dish Joey in the system have issue with ABC constant going dark for a second or so. No other channels. I have to grab my test monitor and bypass the JAP system to test before calling Dish. Wanted to see if anyone has seen issue. Could also be a local issue with NY ABC and not a national issue I suppose

Just watched part of 20/20 and now watching the news on WTNH on my Dish with no issues.
I know you said you receive ABC out of NY. But it still could be a local issue for you even if other Dish users of ABC of NY is fine. When I called WFSB for an audio problem, they asked me what town I lived in. After telling then, I ask why it would matter. Their response was because they have 16 or so “satellite channels”. Meaning there are 16 spots to cover CT. And it’s possible that one spot will have issues while the others will not.
