For an 82" Samsung - I know it won't pull out that far, but when it does I would like minimal sag. Is Chief the strongest option?

Either Chief or Future Automation.  I won't sell anything else besides these two...

Looks like the big PDR with 37" extension is discontinued. That's our go to mount for displays over 65" since it gives the best turning radius.

I came into this game for the action, the excitement. Go anywhere, travel light, get in, get out, wherever there's AV trouble, a man alone.

Chief only.... Just hung 4 82" Sammys. the part that connects to the TV is kind of a pain, but they will not sag. 3 of the 4 had only a 3/4" reveal all the way around.

Future Automation is a step above all other mounts we use. The Chiefs are decent, but they really suck to articulate.

That’s too bad that and the PNR were my faves. Absolute beasts.

Yeah, I thought I remembered one with more than 25" extension - that would have been nice to have in this scenario!

So like the PS80? Interesting design - and it doesn't sag?

Look closer, it is just the custom ones that are discontinued.

Not a bit.  And you’ll be amazed at how smooth the action is.

One thing to note:  there is no tilt.

Future automation all the way. I hung a 85” Sony xbr on one a couple of months back and it had zero sag.
There really isn’t a better mount imho

Unfortunately, since Legrand bought out Milestone AV, most of their brands seem to be going down hill. Ordering from them lately is like pulling teeth.

I have just installed a couple of the STRONG articulating mounts from Staub (SNAPAV) onto 65" TVs and the mount is a beast. Definitely needs 2 people to install even on smaller TVs but didn't notice any sag when the TVs were pulled out all the way (one TV is corner mounted so is always extended a bit.

Issue I found with it is unlike the Chief the articulating arms don't allow for full maneuverability (IE trying to get a TV perfectly into a corner). Other issue is the way it mounts onto the wall bracket. Its only a plate that's about 4"wide (it is Cast steele) but is kind of difficult as you have to place the bottom in then the top then lock the top in.

Other than the above two somewhat minor issues definitely a go to mount for a very good price.
You can't fix stupid

Every company Legrand buys out kinda turns to shit.

Back in the early 2000s Legrand was buying up structured wiring companies like USTec and On-Q , seemed like every time we settled on a product next thing you know Legrand would buy that company and even though "everything would remain the same" within a year or two whichever company would just go down the tubes.

We noticed that once Legrand bought Milestone the 1st thing Legrand did was replace a perfectly good Chief website with a complete turd of a Legrand website.

Which model? Sounds like the razor.

Put in a PS65 yesterday and that thing is awesome. I hope other manufacturers adopt this type of design. The price is a barrier for a lot of clients since many of mine are not that high end.

The Sanus VLF628 is a great mount as well and extends 28”
