Back 20 years ago when I did my basement, I used X-10 dimmers for the lighting. I fried one by wiring it backwards, so the rear 3 lights are on a conventional dimmer.
Now I'm going to do a bit of re-wiring & will be splitting the three lights into a set of two & a single one.
I use a Harmony Touch with a Hub to control the home theatre. What would be good, low-cost, remote controlled dimmers to use?

I don’t have first hand experience with this, but I’ve heard good things about Lutron Caseta with the Harmony hub products.

If it's not simple, it's not sufficiently advanced.

Note that the Caseta product will require a Lutron Caseta Smart Bridge to work.

AFAIK, the Harmony hub doesn’t have built in ZigBee or Zwave, so pretty much any solution will require another box (unless a WiFi product like TP-Link Kasa is viable.)

Yup. Just want to make sure original poster doesn't have a disappointing experience.

Yes, never thought of that. Thanks for the heads up. I may be able to make do with IR dimmers.
I'll look into the Caseta though. I'd prefer to go with Wi-Fi.

One of the things i really like about caseta is the design of the little pico remotes. You can gang them with the switches and dimmers using the PICO-WBX-ADAPT adapter.

If the user has a Logitech hub and the Caseta bridge, the Caseta switches/dimmers will work. That's all they need if they want to use the Harmony app. If they want a hand-held remote, they will need that but otherwise, that's all they need. The Harmony Hub operates over IP as well as IR.

Yep, that's what I'd be doing - getting a bridge & using my Touch.
Looking at Mac's link, I think Caseta is what my neighbor uses, sans bridge.
I see they're available at Home Depot. I'll take a look.
Thanks!
