PoE to power a PoE switch?

I didn't see that it was a GB switch, however my answer is exactly the same. And I doubt any of the devices at the gate are GB devices anyways. But thanks for letting us know how smart you are when it comes to defining the various PoE standards! So very helpful to the conversation at hand.

I apologize for whatever it was about my post that you found off putting. But, for sure, I think itís appropriate to point out inaccurate information in a post. Everyone is here to learn.
