Have any of you guys installed VisionArt? Your thoughts. Customers thoughts.

How are you guys controlling it? They have sensors that activate the screen on plasma power but how do you get the ir to the plasma without being hokey? They also offer an RF remote but that doesnt help either. Is 12v trigger the only sane answer??

I've done two. I liked it. The customer loved it. One was controlled with crestron using switch closures. The other was controlled with a MX-800 using IR codes found on this website (Thanks to Terri O'Connor for posting them). There are discrete up, down and stop commands. We put the IR receiver for the unit in with the equipment and it picked up the commands with the equipment.

I liked that all the triggers were built in to the same control board

You can use teh Xantech CC12 to function as the up and down switch. CC12 can be placed with the res of teh IR/RF System. If you are using an RF remote splice one of the emitters into the CC12. If you are using an IR system run a wire from the connecting block to the CC12. Program up you remote control for the RC68 commands, and you are ready to go. We use teh CC12 for alot of different things, like backlinghting on plasmas for one customer.

Jesus Christ on a Tricycle !

VW, that is the most awful job of typing I've ever seen. You have at least one typo in every line of your post. We thought we would learn something from reading it but it left me completely bewildered. We actually started to think that you were trying to spell the word "the", t e h.

I believe that the latest VisionArt models have AC voltage sensing. You plug the Plasma AC cord into the VisionArt, and the canvas goes up and down according to the applied voltage. Neat trick and pretty easy to use.
