Question for UK installers :

Is it possible to get 2+ Sky Q silver boxes in an install, so that you could have say, multiple 4k boxes, or an install with 2x silver, each with 2x mini boxes. Giving 6x boxes in total ?

I know that over the phone sky will not allow it, but wondered if anyone knew any work arounds

Our UK folks might be able to help you here. Reach out to [email protected]. He's very knowledgeable with SKY boxes. If he doesn't have the answer, he can likely get you to a person that does.

Only way is to get 2 contracts, one box on each. I have heard of people doing this, but have no first hand experience.

Yes it is possible, it is not easy.

You need to have 2 sky accounts that are associated with the property, this is normally not possible, and therefore you will need to have good contacts within sky.

Have seen it done, and it isn't a cheap option at all, as you are paying for double the amount of contract, one client had 5, all with every addon, that's a lot of money.

Everyone I have seen is because they have a contact within sky who has allowed it to happen (they know the CEO, or something like that)

The network has to be set up properly, satellite distribution etc etc.
