I was told by one of Sherwood's reps that they provided descrete codes for their products. So far I cannot find any. I really only need on and off descretes, so if there is anyone who has them, or knows where they are, that would be a great help. I have called Sherwood and their tech is on vacation for a while...

I've never used Newcastle, but 95% of the DVD players on the market will turn on by issuing a play command.
To turn them off, just write the macro "Play, Power."

Just found out from the manufacturer that they do not provide descrete codes with their DVD players. Something to know before you buy one... Anchor commands do not work either.

What's up with that line anyway? It looks like it could be perfectly designed for the custom market, but when I was their booth at CEDIA, there was just a couple of guys sitting around with nobody talking to them.
