I have two downtown Terraces I need to cover with sound. I absolutely cannot drill through the building. There are decks with access that are pretty well sealed (but not entirely waterproof) I have areas where I can place the amp/port that wont get wet, but still need to be in an enclosure. (power is abundant)

Amplifiers will be the James A2.1 which is 1U

Any Ideas?

I use enclosures from L-Com for outdoor equipment (cable/sat boxes, Sonos, etc.)

Hammond makes some nice NEMA cabinets that will accommodate 19" rack mount equipment

Hoffman makes some units with AC in case that is a need

The Audio control Amp might help make the box smaller.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

Thanks! Which ones are those? How did you mount the amps/sonos in them?

They are the 18x16x8 units... I think they're available with different fan/heat options so just pick what best suits your need.

They have an aluminum back board, so I just use aluminum angle and Velcro to make mounts.  Here's a photo of how the Sonos Amp is mounted:

Edit:  I've got 5-6 of these that have been in place for 6+ years without issue.  They're still weather tight and the fans are still working (even at a property near the coast).

I have an L-com enclosure just like the one Paul posted on a project that houses a POE switch, wattbox IP device, Just Add Power receiver, and an AudioControl Rialto. We are heading into winter 3 since this was installed, and have had no issues so far, and the equipment and terminations always look clean.
