Ive recently noticed on a few 4k Apple TVs we've installed that the sound output options "keep breaking".

What happens is that the Apple TVs stop outputting sound, and you have to go to the menu and reset the audio output settings. Ive seen this happen on Apple TVs that are set the "best audio mode", "5.1" and "2ch".

All the TVs and Apple TVs are set to have CEC off.

Has anyone else seen this happening ? Any idea how to resolve it ?

Power cycle fixes them. I've seen that a few times.
