I don’t need a google number. I already have both numbers. One on my personal Verizon account that I’ve had for 15 years, and the other on a company account that I have no say over. And it’s not just the calls I want to bundle on one phone, I want texts too.

I ported my longtime Verizon number to GV. I have calling and texts, vm, sms all in the Google voice app.

Two iPhones? You need to get off your high horse. You could do it with a flip phone and a pager.

After looking at iPlum, it won’t work. I don’t need a virtual number. I have two physical phones from two different cell carriers. I need to make both of them work on one phone. I want to forward everything from my personal phone to the work phone

You can port your # to the work iPhone then, port it back out if/when needed. Basically two different and distinct lines. Credits are inexpensive too. Not super selling you but failing to see why you wouldn’t want the calls and texts easily distinguishable.

One major knock on iPlum would be group texts, it fails miserably on them...

I don’t care it personal contacts can reach me at both. But I want to prevent work contacts from reaching me on my personal phone.

I don’t need to buy a second number. I already have a second number paid for and provided to me by my company.

This may help:

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
