The company I am working for now provides everyone a company phone. This is great for cutting off work at the end of the day. But the problem is I’m carrying two phones during the day. What I would like to do is get all of my personal calls, calendar, and texts on my work phone, but not get any work communications on my personal phone.

Anyone know a solution to this? I’m already using the same iTunes and iCloud account.

I use a Burner. It allows you to have multiple numbers on your phone. It has a subscription fee so the numbers don't change. Forward your personal phone to Burner.

I was thinking about using call forwarding if there’s not a smoother option

Do either of the iPhones have dual SIM? And what are your carriers for both?

If I understand it correctly, the carriers that allow the use of the eSIM will work.

For example if your personal carrier is AT&T and your work is Verizon Wireless. Then you can have both phone numbers on the same phone. Since AT&T locks their phones, and Verizon does not. It would be easier to have VZW use the eSIM on the AT&T phone.

With the merger of T Mobile and Sprint. My girl friend should be able to use just one phone, when everything is settled between the merger.

My personal phone is Verizon. My work phone is a local carrier. The local carrier doesn’t allow WiFi calling so I doubt they will allow an eSIM.

Using iPlum currently, works quite well but just got a dual sim device on VZW. Apparently the option is still on the horizon though.

I would probably put everyone work related into a list and then DND that list after 5. I cant stand juggling phones and will do almost anything to get out of it.

I did that before when I used my personal phone for work. But the new company requires the work phone. And I don’t want to give up my personal number that I’ve had for years.

I’ll check out iplum. Unfortunately dual sim isn’t going to be available on the work carrier for a while

After looking at iPlum, it won’t work. I don’t need a virtual number. I have two physical phones from two different cell carriers. I need to make both of them work on one phone. I want to forward everything from my personal phone to the work phone

I would look at the burner app.
Put it on work phone.
Forward personal calls to burner number.

Back to the dual SIM. I understand that the work is a local carrier. So my thought is to use the work as the main phone. Meaning the physical SIM will be the work number. Then the eSIM will be the personal.

I know it’s possible to have two carriers on the same phone. Physical for one and eSIM for the other.

For your case the eSIM may have to be the personal. Bring both phones to a Verizon and ask them if this possible. Or even to an Apple store.

Ah, I didn’t understand it was an app. Misread Chris’s post. I’ll check it out

I don’t need a google number. I already have both numbers. One on my personal Verizon account that I’ve had for 15 years, and the other on a company account that I have no say over. And it’s not just the calls I want to bundle on one phone, I want texts too.
