Scenario: Funeral home plays a USB that has pictures of clients choice. Might be an 8 minute loop of pics. Also there is a file of maybe 40 minutes of music. Is there a way (software?) to get the video to loop and play every 8 minutes AND have the music play all 40 minutes and loop?

As of now, we have them playing the USB for video and a CD for music. A bit cumbersome and looking to simplify. One USB that loops both would be an answer.

Suggestions?

EDIT: Found out they a currently not looping anything. They are taking 8 minutes of pictures/video and just copying it multiple times to the USB. So, not REALLY looping. But would love a solution where they can take 8 minutes of pictures/video and 40 minutes of audio and just have it loop. ALSO, found out it doesn't have to be USB, he can play directly from his PC if need be. The USB they use is currently an option in the bluray player they are using. So, if the final/best solution is to use just the PC even better. The audio they used the pc. See the cumbersome? Want to just use the USB of the bluray, or even better just the PC. Make sense?

Windows Media Player will let you set to repeat, which in essence gives you a loop.

Then it seems like you would need to load both the video and audio to the source, and I have no idea on that part. No doubt that the music needs to be synced to the video.

What would distinguish an audio file from a music file?

Ah... one of those is supposed to be "video."

Yeah, sounds like there should be something that would do that.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

No, there is not need for music to sync to video. The "video" is really just still pics that family members have complied. All recent funerals I have been too show pic/video on a screen these days. Some have music capabilities, some don't.

Part of the goal is to do as little work as possible. They want to take file "A" which is pictures/video and take file "B" which is music and just have them both play and loop until they hit STOP. Want to avoid having to do a bunch of mixing, or PC work, or editing. Take to files and just play. No syncing needed at all.
