Does anybody know How to do a hard reset to this unit?

If you unplug the power for a certain amount of time, would that do the trick? I don't recall there being a special battery backup to save settings for extended periods without power. If that doesn't work, give Denon support a call. I'm sure they can help.

Thank you,

We used to be a Denon service center and HAD the key sequences for all these. If you have an authorized warranty service center in your area, they should be able to tell you.

Haven't checked Denon manuals, but the Onkyo and Integra owner's manuals have the reset sequence in the back of the manual.....

Usually I get the sequence from the dealerweb. But the 5805 is not listed there yet. Disconecting the receiver from the power does not do the reset. The equipment is acting weird. I have a 3910 connected through HDMI and sometimes I get vidceo and sometimes don't. And I don't get audio at any time. The output of the receiver goes to the HDMI input of the JVC HD-ILA. If I connect the 3910 straight to the display everithing is OK. We have tried everything including replacing the cable with new ones, double checking the setting in the receiver, all kind of combinations of power sequence between the 3910 and the 5905 to see if there is any handshaking issues. The only thing left is hard reset it and if that doesn't work send it back to Denon. I'm gonna try to contact Jeff Talmage tomorrow, to see if he can give me the reset sequence.
I'm always right. The only time I was wrong was the time that I thought, that I was wrong.
