Have a project where a few revisions were made to figure budget out. Client has selected a starting point and need to make a few adjustments to one of the revisions.

However when I open the project and look at the revisions I do not have an option to " Promote as project" . Effectively leaving me with no way to go to the revision and make the changes I need.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Going to be a huge annoyance to change the current revision into the way I need it to be.

Finally found how to do it. Im going to copy paste the instructions I found from the D-tools forum. Took the right combo of search terms to find my answer. Hopefully this will help someone else in the future.

"This is a “hack”.
You can access the project folder by clicking the project in Project Explorer and pressing *.
Now select the revision file (it will have extension dtpr) and copy this file to a new folder somewhere on your system. Change the copied file extension to dtp from dtpr.
Then import this dtp using Project Import.

This hack will not include the drawings which were part of the rev however."

Do you have the project marked as approved? If so, thats your problem. You cant promote a rev if its approved, you have to create a change order.
