I have a customer who has an older system, Crestron with adagio. Crestron bedroom remote just died, rather than reprogramming a whole system 10 years old, I am wondering if anyone has been able to control a zone of adagio with a logitech via IR or IP. Anyone's experience here would be really helpful. Thanks!

Crestron systems don't work that way. You won't be able to throw a third party solution at it. The easy solution is to purchase a replacement remote of same model and do a direct replacement.

Depending on model/etc you'll need to:

-enroll on RF / wifi and set RF-ID or IP-ID
-load .vtz or other project file specific to remote

Both of which will require Crestron Toolbox, some basic info about the system config. For the second you'll also need an up to date copy of the relevant project files.

Thanks for the help, yes I am a crestron programmer, the remotes are no longer available, just trying to see if there is a code set out there that logitech has, seems like they have everything. Just looking for creative suggestions, major deal to reprogram the system, would likely need to do alot of upgrades.

I haven't done anything with Crestron since 2005- do they use IP control? If so, the Elite hub may be able to control at least some of the equipment.

Use a URC MRX850. Will work fine with it as you would use the Crestron Trigger Codes. URC made the Crestron remotes.

Just make sure to match the URC to the existing Crestron Gateway. You need 433mhz
