I think it has more to do with context.

Mac is like "the red team isn't helping and generally screwing things up for me"

David is like "you're all nazi sympathizers helping new hitler gas jews and should be killed"

Great spin! Maybe you can get a job as the new White House Press Secretary! You just have to be able to walk and chew your cud at the same time. Like Sarah.

You do know that I've never said any of the things you say that I've said? "nazi sympathizers", "new hitler", "should be killed". Never.

Go back to the thread which I started called "Are You Ready for Business Price Increases?" where ALL I SAID WAS:

"Thanks to the Trump Tax" with a link to the article quoting Gary Shapiro who says "Trump Tax".

By Post #16 "[I'm] a f'ing curse!", and "send David packing".

It's fascinating that any of you think you can justify your behavior. You're all as childish as Trump is. You can dish it out but you can't take anything - especially the truth. f'ing babies, all of you.

Tonight I sat on the tailgate of my truck and ate a tomato that just ripen from the garden. As I sat and listen to Coeur De Pirate (a Canadian-French singer), I thought about how well the French are doing and the type of government they have. How they have been a country for a hell of a lot longer than the US.
Then I thought about all the other old world countries and their forms of government and how they have all been around so much longer than we.

Thinking about things here, it occurred to me how things have been going down hill every generation since the 1950's-70's. My family linage dates back to the Mayflower, long before there was even a country here. They have always been poor and mostly farmers, with the generations just before me in the southern Indiana area.
I found myself wondering if the old saying "This is why we can't have nice things" to be more true than we care to. If all the idiots, zealots, and other slim of society (rich or poor) have now brought it all to an end. That I might actually witness the end of this once great nation in my lifetime (I'm only in my mid 40's now - although I feel so much older these days). And how it will affect what little freedoms I have left.

The moon is full tonight, looks beautiful. And this is a great tasting tomato!

You sure about that?  Hitler rolled over France in less than 2 months.  Without the Allies that country would have ended in 1940.

I agree with just about everything you've said in this thread.

However, and this is not your doing, I must call out the complete, total and disgusting hypocrisy on this forum. You posted this as the second post of the thread. Do you know what would have happened if it was me and not you who posted the exact same words?

I would have immediately been drawn and quartered by half a dozen of the people on here. Totally unbelievable! I don't see anyone calling out for you to be banned from here. Instead, they (almost civilly) started a conversation regarding your talking points. I wonder what the difference is?

Mac does not turn every single post into a political one, you do.  That is the difference.

That has nothing to do with what he posted.

It took a while to get my credit back up after the republican housing market crash.

There was no gun to my head in 2016 because team blue was in charge. The country was still free.

They sure did. End of 08 aged me quite a bit. Thanks?

The housing market crash was because of Fannie Mae , Freddie Mac and the Fed. They're government sponsored entities that completely screwed us, along with Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and Franklin Raines. There's a lot of blame to go around for that and Geo W Bush isn't one of them, in case you were planning to name him. He actually warned against continuing the lending practices in about 2003. It came, in part, from lending to people who couldn't afford the loans and from hedge funds & derivatives. Can't blame/credit a POTUS without blaming/crediting Congress in many cases.

I think we all aged a lot, regardless of party.

We have been at war for 18 years. Both parties like to drop bombs. I think it only feels like it isnt 'full-blown-war' because its our new normal.

After the last crash i am of the opinion that "experts" know nothing about finance or they are willing participants in the destruction. Team blue likes to turn the screws just tight enough so that regular people can still breathe. Team red turns it up to 11. Lets hope im wrong.

We have people in place and lob a few bombs/missiles but we're hardly 'at war' in the sense of Desert Storm, etc. The pull-back reduced our troop count to a low percentage.

WRT the collapse, here are some links, with varying degrees of slant-

Raines was forced out as head of Fannie Mae but the financial institutions were right there, hoovering up whatever they could, for as long as they could.

One difference is in how you write your posts- you blame us for things that aren't true and your name-calling is childish. You ought to look at your posts through someone else's eyes- maybe you could copy/past some of them with your name removed as well as the posts you responded to, then show them to others and get their views. You might find that your comments are offensive to them, too.

You also play 'victim' a lot, as you did in everything except your first comment.

While true; we might not have won our independence, had we not had the help from the French against the British. So...
But we were not talking about wars. We were talking about... topic of thread was C4 and I'm way off-topic as well :(

Yeah, the French are doing great. Violent protests, general strikes, low wages, 9% unemployment and some of the highest taxes in Europe.

And the French may not have staged their own revolution if they hadn't seen the Colonists win. Thanks to Ben Franklin, the French saw it as a way to fight their old enemy, Britian.

C4 was the fourth attempt; will they now call it C5?

I may not have enough information to get deep into that topic.
But I know France has a huge immigration problem right now, due to them having open boarders and inviting every person that shows up on their doorstep. Or at least they did, I think maybe they are rethinking that after all the violent terrorist attacks they suffered.
Who are the ones doing all the violent protests, striking, and are unemployed? The uneducated youth with entitlement issues? We have plenty of that here. Or maybe a lot of new non-native citizens?
Scanning social media in France, seems a lot of people there are doing very well. But that is probably skewed, because I see a lot of the same things scanning nearby countries in Europe. But then again...

Better education, higher literacy, 1/4 the murder rate, longer life expectancy, a medical system that doesn’t ruin you financially for getting hurt. A minimum wage roughly 3x the US minimum wage. Massively lower rates of amphetamine and opioid drug use.

No country is without its problems...

No country is without its problems...

That "medical system", which is just health care, cost France over $700Billion- how well do you think their economy tolerated that?

Look at where the opioids and other drugs come from and who is the largest consuming country.

The lower 50% of the country averages about $2K/month. They have people working part time, so more are 'employed', but they don't gross as much as a full-time worker.

The murder rate, as in every other crime, is because of the people, not just the weapons. The US has more people, therefore, more murders.

If they have 1/4 the murders, that's a problem because they have 1/5 the US population.
