I'm involved for the first time in a project where I need to provide a drop down mount for over a fireplace.

I searched back through the forums and read most of the recommendations were for MantelMount or Dymanic Mounting but all the information seemed to be about the manual mounts.

I need an automated mount and it looks like both manufacturers have one.

MantelMount has automated swivel, but their latest version (MM860) isn't shipping yet and might not be available in time.

Dynamic Mounting is a little bit thinner (1.4" vs 1.8").  It has a manual swivel option, but seems like it's been around for awhile.

Anyone have experience with either automated mount or have a recommendation from another manufacturer?  The older version of the MantelMount is the MM855.

I don't think Future Automation has a drop down & out solution and I don't have the time or budget with this job to have them do something custom.

Future Automation absolutely has the EAD motorized "down and out" mount. I recently installed one with an 85" Sony and it works great, installs fairly easily, and is smooth, quiet, and well built, and surprisingly inexpensive for what it is and who builds it.

My only recommendation is to try and use the recessed mounting solution or brace the wall properly, as the mounting plate is only about 12" wide and will not secure to 16" OC studs. I wish they would include a solution to do so.

Thanks... I'm not a Nexus21 dealer, but contacted them today and have already received some information.

Can you recommend the product (have you actually installed one)?

Not sure how I missed this one from FA.  I will be recessing the mount so would use the WB-EAD version.

My pricelist is from last year and only shows the EAD version.  If you have pricing for the wall box version (WB-EAD) would you mind forwarding dealer cost & retail price?

Edit:  Looks like I have the latest price list already, but it doesn't show the WB-EAD.
