Great news on the new weblink features coming this week. Needless to say, we converted our trial to a subscription today. No brainer of an investment for the return we expect to get out of it productivity wise. The overall app and also the speed at which it works within the browser sold me. Some of the other cloud based apps we tried had that “slow connection” type of feel while working and that was annoying while trying to knock out complex proposals.

Ok Jetbuilt, you're getting a lot of free press from my post...

how about a free year subscription!!!

The hardest part about setting up any software is the initial setup. It's taken us years to get BidMagic the way we want it, and there are always things it can't do that we wish it could.

I still wish someone would create an all-in-one package. It would be a game changer. Maybe Snap will do this now that they are the big wheel.

The more things we can automate the easier it makes it. There is nothing worse than having to do the mundane tasks that could be done automatically.

Does anyone know of any other software that would be worth taking a look at?

Thanks for listening Jetbuilt! Saw this today.

“The residential installer community finally gets its wish! We pushed back on this feature for years, but the community wins this one - for some projects and some clients this is just the right approach.

Click the SEND TO CLIENT button, write a note for the email, then send it off. Your client will get a link to view the proposal. You can also be notified every time that proposal is viewed online.”

Sounds great!

How good is the product database compared to Portal?

I have been working with them over the last week to clean up several bugs that I have found. Mostly with in the iPad app functionality. Overall it’s pretty slick what you figure out how to use it. It took me about half a day banging on it to get it to my liking. They have great online chat help and tons of online reference videos and articles to answer most problems or questions

No one has ever made such a terrible hybrid because no one thought it could all be mixed. Unfortunately, working in four different windows is more convenient than in a single window of a program whose functionality shows the best results. On the other hand, which version of Windows do you want to install such a monster on. Probably, computers with Win7 won't withstand this pressure, and people will continue to write out paystubs in simple accounting programs that were created in 2007. That's all I wanted to say about it. Drop the link here, and if you find these eight wonders of the world, I'll take a look.
