Client had Wi-Fi issues, so Comcast moved the router from the bottom floor of the house to the main floor, which improved Wi-Fi to some extent. When he moved it upstairs though, it left the alarm system and DIRECTV without an Internet connection. So they started having a DirecTV network error pop up when turning on the TV.
I took the router back downstairs, and reconnected everything, and got them some decent Wi-Fi around the house. Alarm and DIRECTV or hooked up again, but client says the DIRECTV network error has begun to pop up again.
I have not been back to the house, but wanted to quick check and see if you thought simply re-logging the main DVR to the Internet would be sufficient? Or is there something else going on that I am not aware of?

There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions. |
