I have had multiple ZigBee-based RTI control systems in the field with rock solid reliability [save for one bad round of firmware] for a decade. One of my long time clients added a wireless DirecTV client transmitter to an A/V cabinet I installed, within 4 feet or so of the system's ZigBee transceiver. Since then, he complains that the system locks up and the XP-6 has to be rebooted once a month and that commands occasionally hang [like volume ramping].

Has anyone experienced interference issues with ZigBee and these transmitters?

TIA

Change the channel? You can do it with C4, not sure if you can on RTI?

There is a way to force a ZigBee Chanel change...I just have to remember how to do it. From what I can discern, the DTV Xmitter is in the 5.8Ghz spectrum which *shouldn't* disrupt the ZigBee spectrum, but given enough oversaturation due to proximity, there may be an issue.

You sure it’s the wireless transmitter that’s the problem? The new DTV remotes are actually zigbee.
